Plus, I hated the necklace and really wanted to wear a brooch or two on my jacket, maybe a stick pin plus a round pin -- neither of which I own. Will have to check consignment and charity shops.</p> <p>If I were to wear the blazer and pants together again, I would switch out the striped shirt for my chambray workshirt. And if I were to wear the blazer with the striped shirt again, I would switch out the pants for jeans, maybe blue jeans like Angie's example.</p> <p>This was an exercise in wearing an outfit that I knew was objectively great but would be in the realm of a costume for me. I found it interesting that so many of you liked the furry vest on me. Remember when they were all over maybe five, ten, or was it 15 years ago? I also changed from the booties to silvery clogs because the booties were eating my socks. I don't remember these booties doing that in the past so it might have been a sock issue. Had it been warmer, I would have warn my moto vest or my furry vest or possibly my puffer vest.</p> <p>Btw, these pants were out for shortening when Angie posted. I (finally!) decided that pants that worked with only one or two pairs of shoes was not all that practical. </p>
