My kind sister-in-law (Canadian, married to hubby’s Kiwi brother) wrote their names on with glue and sparkly pen. The other 2 stockings, which I agree also look snowy/wintry, came from who knows where over time! But it took about 100 years of NZ being settled by Europeans for many summer motifs to be incorporated into our Christmases.
