But it's a thin enough knit (cashmere or a blend), and the kimono has generous sleeves, so it's something to test out. Might be good on a cold day.</p> <p><b>Angie</b>, I'm glad #1 worked out, as I love midi skirts. The bootcut jeans have been a revelation--I'm definitely going to add more back into my wardrobe. These may be the only ones right now, aside from some trousers I don't wear too often because they're dressy (that might change now). Most of my tops would be, though. I have this problem with skirts and probably need to be buying some of my fitted tops in petites if. I wore his skirt on the first non-Artic day in a while. </p> <p>2-I liked this, but I saw a picture of myself taken from the side that day, and ugh! I looked bloated. This colors my feeing about it little. I suspect I was just not standing up straight, though. #8 is a pic of my wool socks peeking out of those boots the same day. </p> <p>3- A dark romantic look. I wore the same topper on Thanksgiving, and my cousin liked it so much I had to get her one. Worn with my waterproof Teva booties-a workhorse on wet days. </p> <p>4 - Fun casual outfit for a friend’s 40th birthday party. I should NOT have worn light colored suede shoes, though. There is now a food stain that no one but me will notice. I’ve ordered some cleaner for it. </p> <p>5 &amp; 6 - A more somber outfit but with fun velvet boots. </p> <p>7 - I kept those blue leggings from Loft. They’re very comfy and the shape mostly holds. They make a nice winter wildcard and antidote to constant dark bottoms. </p> <p>I’m going to continue tracking my wears and making notes on my outfits that work or don’t work. It will be warmer in the next week or so, and I hope to add in a skirt or dress here and there. I also have some chunky cardigans that are being stored a little out of the way. I hope some wardrobe planning will enable me to cycle them back in more. </p>
