Thanks for all the love for the lilac sweater jacket! I have to admit it's not perfect as far as handknits go. I made it ages ago when I wasn't quite so exacting about fit on handknits, and consequently some aspects of the fit are slightly off - if I were making it today I'd make it longer, make it smaller in the shoulders, and change the front closure to a real button band. But I'm glad it doesn't look like it has fit issues, lol.

These are all great! I like the different layers in 1. I can never make my different lengths work that well. The sweater jacket is divine. I keep loving the slouchy dress. Plaid shirts are necessary! And red-- killer.

I love 2 - you look a little like a spy! I love your coat. 3 is wonderful - the sweater and blouse look perfect together. I can't believe how warm it is there.

1. You look great in purple! I'm always jealous of people who can wear that shade because I love it but it makes me look dead.

2. I love your reason for wearing the long skirt. I'm on my way to yoga now in knee length capris and I'm kinda horrified at my shins in outdoor light. Aw, well. Who was expecting spring in February?

Here's a bunch of outfits from the last two weeks that I took pictures of but didn't think were worth writing their own post for. ;) As you can see our weather has taken a turn for spring in the last few days. Today is in the 60's! (Not sure how long it'll stay this way but I'm enjoying it while it lasts!)

1-2: A cozy outfit, still in snow boots. I prefer this blazer unbuttoned (this is why I generally prefer one button blazers) but I was cold so being warm won out. It's a thick knit fabric and quite warm.
(Gap blazer, Anthro tee, Joe's plaid pants, Sorel snow boots, CK coat, handknit scarf and hat)

3: still pretty cold out, but I decided to wear some springy colors and florals for a change.
(handknit sweater jacket, H&M tee, Rag&Bone jeans, Blondo boots)

4-5: getting warmer! This is one of my favorite FFBOs. I definitely need to knit more slouchy sweater dresses (with pockets!) except they take so much time and yarn, lol. I was excited because this is an early spring coat and not a winter one!
(handknit dress, Gap leggings, Sam Edelman boots, H&M coat, MZ wallace bag, BR scarf)

6: Another pleasant early spring weather day. I haven't worn my long vests for a while since it's been too cold and they're a bit too bulky to layer under blazers - it's nice to pull them out again.
(Lucky shirt, Kenneth Cole vest, Vince jeans, Born oxfords, Longchamp bag)

7: What I'm wearing today on a 60+ degree day. I really did not want to wear pants, but I also haven't waxed my legs for like a month, so I compromised and wore my long column skirt. Nice and breezy. =)
(French connection top, F21 tank, Express skirt, Born oxfords, Longchamp bag).
