Arty, eclectic, interesting, fun and practical. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>#5, 6 and 8 are Killer.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-catching-up-early-spring-outfits#post-1789035 Sat, 18 Mar 2017 14:34:29 +0000 Diana 1789035@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>"Early spring" in quotes because there was a blizzard on Tuesday and arctic temperatures for most of this week! </p> <p>Anyway, here are several outfits that I photographed but never posted in the last week or two.&nbsp; Sorry about the poor quality of some of the mirror photos - the lighting is not ideal and I don't like to wear my salty/sandy boots into the bedroom to take photos with better lighting and good camera.&nbsp; </p> <p>1: This was from last week before it got ridiculously cold again.&nbsp; It was not quite warm enough for bare ankles though, so I wore these straight leg jeans uncuffed.&nbsp; Do you think the length is OK?&nbsp; I almost always wear these cuffed or rolled.&nbsp; The teal tunic is handknit.</p> <p>2-4: The blog post about bell sleeves reminded me that this lilac handknit jacket has them!&nbsp; I really like full length bell sleeves the most, even though they are not very practical for things like lab work.&nbsp; On a jacket like this, though, I can always take it off if I need to do something where the sleeves will get in the way.&nbsp; Win win.&nbsp; I wish I had taken a photo with my coat because I could show you how I wear bell sleeves under a coat (since I saw lots of people confused about that). Basically, I just pull the sleeve out from the coat sleeve so that the bottom of the bell sticks out. I like the kind of victorian vibe that gives.&nbsp; </p> <p>5: Drapey black layers and plaid.&nbsp; This combo is always a winner.&nbsp; </p> <p>6-8: Halogen sweater with my black vest over.&nbsp; I really wished I had a long gilet her - I think it would look so dramatic and fun!&nbsp; But I do like this mid-length vest a lot too.&nbsp; It has a lot of fun details like asymmetrical lapels and chiffon trim that I can never manage to catch in photos. Wore my green coat and sheep hat for saint patrick's day!&nbsp; </p>
