It really stopped me and made me go Wow!&nbsp; I also love 9. I think it's the added colors of the coats that really do it for me in those 2. The other outfits are great too, but it's like having the 4th color just somehow really ups it a notch. Or maybe it's that you look so good in bright red and emerald green. The other outfits are lovely too. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-catching-up-5#post-1405498 Thu, 04 Dec 2014 22:08:26 +0000 Diana 1405498@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I've been too busy to post my WIWs from the last week or so, so I'm posting them all at once.&nbsp; </p> <p>1-2: wore this the day before Thanksgiving to meet Una and Nancy for breakfast, and then to drive out to the Berkshires for the holiday.&nbsp; It was rainy in Cambridge, and snowing in the Berkshires, and everything in between during the drive (yucky all around).&nbsp; This is the Gap flannel tunic I bought recently.&nbsp; Underneath it I have a long sleeved heattech tee, and the combo was super warm.&nbsp; I didn't get any photos of actual outfits over the Thanksgiving holiday, but it was pretty much some variant of this outfit with a big sweater thrown over it all. <br />(Gap shirt, CoH jeggings, Blondo boots)</p> <p>3-4: trying out the sweater over shirt thing with longer pieces.&nbsp; I like the proportions but would have liked the sweater to be a bit boxier.&nbsp; It's an old handknit, from when I was still liking my sweaters more fitted.&nbsp; The silk tunic blouse is actually sleeveless, which makes it great for layering (see the find below to see it on its own).&nbsp; The pants are actually my dark blue brocade skinnies, not black like they appear in the photo.<br />(handknit sweater, Minnie Rose silk sleeveless tunic, Wit&amp;Wisdom skinnies, Seychelles booties).</p> <p>5-6: I don't have a photo of this outfit without the coat, but you've all seen it before - BFs, my Hinge lace front sweatshirt, and booties.&nbsp; I really liked how it went with my red trench though!&nbsp; This day was freakishly warm, hence the bare ankles.&nbsp; <br />(Hinge sweatshirt, Gap BF jeans, Fluevog booties, Anthro trench, ??? scarf)</p> <p>7-9:&nbsp; Today's outfit, which features stripey pattern mixing.&nbsp; The blazer, sweater, and skirt are all knits, which actually makes this a very comfy outfit!&nbsp; This is the first time I've worn tights in months.&nbsp; These are footless, which makes them a bit more tolerable than normal tights. <br />(handknit sweater, AT skirt, Tinley Road blazer, Sam Edelman boots, CK coat, handknit scarf, Longchamp bag)</p> <p>10-13: bonus snow photos!&nbsp; These were all taken at Tanglewood on the day after Thanksgiving.&nbsp; There's about a foot of snow here. </p>
