I am glad that off-the-shoulder tops on me are always getting positive reviews. I should wear them more often.  I spend a big part of the day in trendy areas of the city (Georgetown) yesterday, and it looked like half of the women I saw on the streets were wearing them. Sterling, you are so kind, thank you! Angie, you are so right about cropped pants, wow!  I have just looked again through all the 12 outfits and not a single one of them has full length pants. The few pairs that are long were cuffed for a shorter look. Who would have thought that a short-legged me that is fairly sensitive to that particular proportion would be such a cropped pant convert! Among the black tops, my favourite is 10, I think it's the most flattering on you - but I could just express my own preference for high neck and sleeveless. I'm kind of reversing my stand on those tops after seeing one yesterday on a young woman - who ingeniously wore it over a strappy sports bra , which I thought was a great solution for those of us who aren't comfortable in strapless bras . More lab outfits: navy Express high/low tunic, cream 7FAMK cropped jeans, navy Me Too slipper flats, cobalt Kenneth Cole tote. #11 - 6/29 (Wednesday). A fun business casual outfit worn for the office internship day. Cream sleeveless Express trench, blush JCrew Teddie pants, blush JC lace-up flats, silver RM bag. #12 - 6/30 (Thursday). A more relaxed BC outfit for a stressful internship day. Grey cocoon AE cardi, cream sleeveless Gibson turtleneck, plaid cream BR Sloan pants, white Munro loafers.
