When I bought them, I really felt like I was settling because I had the "waaaa, I want skinny jeans TOO" mentality. &nbsp;But in all honestly, my legs look&nbsp;like one of those turkey drumsticks from the fair when I have on tight to the ankle skinnies, and it's even more pronounced with flats. &nbsp;These are Levis Bold Curve (in LOVE with that line from Levis!), and they have really become a go-to.</p> <p>As for the dress, I think I always luck up at Banana at the end of the season because I can usually fit a Large or XL (and they run big). I think that most retailers in malls and catalogs only show the thinnest, youngest models they can, and therefore lots of people 12 &amp; up won't even step into their stores, much less wander way back to the sales room. These are technically "straight leg" jeans, but they are as tight as I care for denim to fit on me.&nbsp; I usually wear these with tall boots, and they&nbsp; look like normal skinnies. </p> <p>This purple dress that I wore today is one of my favorite dresses.&nbsp; It was a steal that I found end of season at Banana Republic one year.&nbsp; It has fun sleeves and a great shape when it's belted.&nbsp; It's freezing cold today, so that gave me a chance to throw on my black leggings, knee high wool socks and layer the heck out of this.&nbsp; I was pulling up leggings all day, so I think that while it was a warm idea and my legs looked fine, I need something higher waisted! </p>
