I've adjusted to skinnies on me so much that it kind of feels like they almost minimize my larger lower half just because it's less fabric, IYKWIM. Plus, like you mentioned, I'm heavier now than when I last wore wide legs...and like you, I used to wear them with very fitted tops, and I'm not feeling so confident in very fitted tops any more (thanks, menopause :-() I actually like the volume on the lower half on you, which makes me think wide legs will just emphasize my lower half too much. Hmm. I dunno. Maybe if I see just the right pair (casual, not too polished trouser-y), I might try some. I do have some linen wide leg pants from last year that I never wore this summer -- frankly, I forgot about them.
