That cardigan is beautiful on you! But I *hate* the feeling of blouse sleeves bunching under cardi sleeves so I understand. And your analysis of the problems seems like it will be helpful for you in the future when getting dressed!

I love the cardi. Can you unbutton the bottom a couple to echo the V-neck? I have had those days too, hope you aren't too bothered until you can get home.

I wonder if you would feel more comfortable in it if you just had a plain cami under the cardigan instead of the blouse. I tend to be a minimalist too and that's probably how I'd feel comfortable wearing it. It's a very pretty cardigan - I could see it with lighter colored bottoms too.

The outfit looks good in the pic and I wouldn't have noticed anything if you hadn't said it (and some I still can't see like the fit of the blouse). But I do understand your concerns and how it has an effect on how you feel about your outfit! Nice smile even with all those issues by the way

I guess you can't win 'em all. Objectively speaking this outfit isn't terrible, but I feel kind of bleh in it and that's not how I want to feel when I walk out the door.

WIW:
Printed Cardigan - Rickis
Striped Button Down - Smart Set
Gray Textured Trousers - RW&Co
Black Snake Textured Booties - Rockport

So here's what I don't like about this:
1. The blouse doesn't fit well. I rescued it from the donate pile one morning when I was behind on laundry and I think it needs to go back there. It's slightly too snug in the chest and the sleeves are too bulky under a cardigan.
2. Too much going on (for me). The blouse is striped, the pants are textured, the cardigan is printed, the boots are textured. I'd feel more myself if one of those elements were solid.
3. The pants violate PPL. I always forget until I have them on! I need to have the hem let down a cm or so, I think.

In any case, lessons learned! I didn't have time to change - in fact I barely had time to take a decent picture. I did tug my blouse straight so it wasn't wrinkled oddly at the neckline before I ran out the door.
