So here it is in action. &nbsp;I wore this to&nbsp;see the new resident crocs&nbsp;in our local&nbsp;aquarium with&nbsp;DH and the kids. &nbsp;It was a fun trip!</p> <p>Inge had posted a few links in that post where she said that pairing dark boots with lighter bottoms was acceptable in summer. &nbsp;I decided to wear my DIY shorts and thought the skin would add enough structure and *lightness* to the entire outfit with a bonus of keeping me cool. &nbsp;I added my navy embellished neckline top (F&amp;F) with a black cami underneath for modesty. &nbsp;I finished my outfit with my new black chelsea boots (Acne).</p> <p>Well about the boots ....&nbsp;&nbsp;DH bought them recently from a private sales site at about 70% discount. &nbsp;He knows this girl likes her boots and likes it low heeled&nbsp;:) &nbsp;It was instant love at first sight for me! &nbsp;Pointy toes, patent leather, walkable heels and the best ... no flower pot effect! &nbsp;I don't even find boots like these when I go hunting for them. &nbsp;And he manages to buy them without even me trying it on? &nbsp;Now there's the reason why he's still my husband Bwahahahaha!</p> <p>To lighten the outfit further, I added my white studded handbag (Steve Madden/old). &nbsp;So what do you think? &nbsp;Have I managed to lighten the outfit enough to make it look summery? &nbsp;Thank you for looking and commenting as always x </p>
