I'm baring the seriously bruised shin from nearly two weeks ago -- it looks way better now so I'm not so apt to scare onlookers. I'm not quite ready for shorter shorts yet -- maybe after I get a little bit of sun. :-)</p> <p>I got these silver Franco Sarto flip-flops (off season and serious sale at TJMaxx) as my knock-around sandals for this year (I need a pair every summer that I can afford to really beat up), and I'm wearing them more than I expected. So comfortable, and the silver elevates them, IMO. Cobalt backpack was the obvious bag choice. </p> <p>Hopefully JFE. This is more white than I typically wear, but I like the cooling effect of white on a hot day. </p> <p>Bonus: two sleepy pugs, already becoming one with the floor and the bed in the hot weather. </p>
