I cannot wear waterfall cardis, just too much and too much drape, so I commiserate with you on the challenges. Everyone else has perfect ideas to try, so nothing to add except congratulations on the house and good luck with the packing!!!

Congratulations!!!

I agree with the comments already posted. I, too, find waterfall cardigans tricky. A tonal look, or a super skinny bottom like a tube skirt might do the trick. It does, however, look like a nice cozy piece to throw on!

Yay! Great news on the house.
I love the idea of pairing the cardigan with something white, I would never would have taught about it.
I do like the outfit and think it looks cool if you let the cardigan fall as it wants instead of trying to show the draping(I had the same problem with my drapey vest some days ago.).For me drapey clothes is all about the movement.

Yay on the house!

I like the shape of the cardigan and think the slim jeans and navy tee are a great combo with it, but am wondering if it's a little big.

First, congrats on the house!
I find these cardis difficult to wear. I think it's just all that fabric. I'd try adding a belt to reign it in and try wearing it with a tube/slim skirt or skinny/cigarette pants.

A wide thick belt would tone down dome of the volume.

Congratulations on the house! Sounds like Sara and Aida have you sorted on the cardi. It's such a nice piece I hope you can style it more to your liking.

I think you're onto something with the slim lower half, but I think the volume could be nicely mitigated to something that looks more purposefully architectural if you wore an entirely light, tonal, or low contrast base beneath it. Also love Sara's idea of a tube skirt, since the extra skin would add some structure to the volume (you whould also push up the cardi sleeves with that outfit). It's got potential!

Hmm, I feel the same way about a lot of waterfall cardigans - just too much fabric. I'm not sure how to fix the problem though. Maybe others will have some suggestions. The white linen seems like it could be interesting and fun for the summer. Maybe over slimmer bottoms? Like a tube skirt?

Just found out that all the appraisal and bank stuff with our house offer went through as planned, so we will be getting keys soon! I have so much more packing to do...

In principle I like this white linen waterfall cardigan, but in practice I don't end up wearing it that much. I feel like it overwhelms me even though I'm not a small person. What do y'all think; is there any way to style it successfully?

Tee and jeans, Old Navy; shoes, Born; cardigan, Isda & Co.
