You look stylish and professional. If I were to tweak it, I would uncuff the blazer sleeves to see how it works with them full-length. As someone with an IT shape with broad shoulders, a large chest, and big hair, I don't like more bulk on top (it feels and looks like too much of the same shape to me--unbalanced with my lower half, IYKWIM), plus I find it awkward and fussy to try to keep sleeves scrunched or pushed up. I figure the blazer/Oxford combo counteract the casualness of the pants to result in an overall office appropriate combo. </p> <p>This experiment very much reminds me how much I need to replace my light layering tops. I don’t think I could wear this one or yesterday’s without the jacket. Their sleeves are a great length for providing a pop of colour under a blazer, but they are too large and sloppy to wear on their own. This one also has a bit of a run, which I am hiding under the scarf. </p> <p>These pants make a rustling noise when I walk, and one of my team commented “you’re wearing snow pants today!” (Which is almost exactly what I said to DH before I left the house this morning)</p> <p>Anyway, I don’t mind the noise. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for looking. Your comments and suggestions always welcome. Did I succeed in making this office appropriate? (Business casual environment). What would you do if you were to tweak it? </p>
