I use bracelets all the time to make my necklaces longer. I felt inspired and tore out several looks to copy. </p> <p>The proportions on this first one are different than I'm used to. It is a bit of a challenge to pull off with my short neck and chesty front, but I thought it came together. Still not 100% sure about it though. </p> <p>The picture had a blingy sweater, so instead I used a heavier necklace. I wish the light had been better because I think the low lighting really kills the effect. The necklace is a rich mixed amber piece. In person, the light on it is beautiful. Also, it matches the leopard wedges. I wish it were about 3 inches longer, though, so that I could wear it under the collar and over the sweater. </p> <p>My take is a little less bold than the J Crew version, but I think works well for the office. </p> <p>My only real concern is the proportions on the top. Does it work for me? Or should I shy away in the future? </p>
