I don't listen to radio here &amp; am so out of the loop so I only see bands that are old. They are from Melbourne &amp; I have been seeing them for 20 years. They still dress the same, though they don't look too young. I guess I can't still dress the same. I don't think some mens fashion is as diverse as ours. Lead guy wore a suit instead of shirt &amp; trousers like he used to wear, not much of a change. But I could have been seen wearing a mini skirt or a slip as a dress back in the day.</p> <p>ETA: I couldn't find any pics of me wearing a slip as a dress, which was all the rage in the 90s, but I found a pic of me in 1998 on my way to the Vans Warped Tour. I was wearing converse not Vans &amp; I wasn't a junkie, that is a print of a cover of a William Burroughs book. Thanks ladies for all the advice. It was such an arty venue that it was in a very dodgy part of town. With gang graffiti on the ground I'm glad I chose a chunky heel bootie instead of my stilletto ones, so I could run &amp; even though I wore my convertible clutch with the crossbody strap I felt a little uneasy, even with hubby by my side. I would normally have worn flat shoes to an event like this but tried to dress up more than usual.</p> <p>It's not the first time I have been in places like that. It goes with liking independent arty bands &amp; events. I was a little overdressed &amp; knew I would be but dressing like everyone else would be considered too young &amp; casual perhaps so I have been trying to step it up a little since being on YLF. Trying to be a more sophisticated rock chick or boho if that is possible.</p> <p>It is not uncommon for people to wear all black at these events but I added a touch of white.</p> <p>I am still interested in other ways to wear this jacket dressed up or down.</p> <p>I wore Rag &amp; Bone military jacket<br /> Black coated skinny jeans<br /> Black chunky heel booties<br /> Black sequin shell<br /> Black &amp; white gingham shirt unbuttoned<br /> Black handbag </p>
