My iPad rudely goes for the grainy look when it comes to indoor pictures.</p> <p>Whew! Now on to the good stuff! Yesterday was my husband's 29th birthday (with my son's first birthday following on Saturday! Eek!) and we were able to enjoy some time out and about in the evening, a rare opportunity we seize so rarely these days. The weather was TERRiBLE: chilly, windy and rainy all day which continued right on through the night. </p> <p>I chose my thickest black leggings (a generic pair I found at Marshall's that could basically double as sweatpants. Ah-mazing!), paired with a sheer button-down in a very deep red (I refer to it as 'Merlot'!) with the sleeves rolled to 3/4, which is a staple for me even when its cold! The boots are suede, over-the-knee height, and lined with studs at the top. I've had them for more than two years now and still get compliments everytime I wear them! I layered three thin silver necklaces and of course piled on bangles, big rings and my favorite Michael Kors watch (not that you can see any of that in these pictures!) and a black scarf. Topped it off with a black cropped moto, one of the most versatile pieces in my closet.</p> <p>All in all, I was happy with my outfit all evening and my husband had a great birthday, but comments and feedback are ALWAYS appreciated and loved. Bonus photobomb by my little man-next up is his birthday weekend and I've already been pondering what we'll BOTH be wearing! </p>
