As a kid I recall wearing a ski jacket of any sort was perceived as rather "uncool" -- pretty much the opposite of today. This Uniqlo puffer was my first-ever "fashion" puffer (although I take it hiking, too, and it's perfectly functional as a gear piece), purchased three years ago. I cut the hair about 6 wks ago and it's going to be due for a fringe trim very soon -- high maintenance! But I love the structure of a straight fringe. I'm looking forward to getting it just a but longer all over, a true bob rather than the faux/mini bob it is right now. </p> <p>I'm pretty sure I wore almost this exact same outfit last weekend -- but rugby stripes instead of breton, and dark jeans instead of light. These jeans were a great find -- it's so hard to find a clear light wash with no distressing at all. </p> <p>This is definitely a sporty tomboy/ garçonne sportive look. The jeans are a literal nod to the 90s -- vintage Calvin Klein "mom jeans" in pristine condition that I picked up at the consignment store last month. Everlane cotton cardi, Uniqlo Breton, black Blundstones, and Uniqlo down puffy. Light wash denim always feels like just the thing with an otherwise black/white outfit. One of my favourite colour combos, right up there with black/white/olive. </p>
