We have smart casual or business. So I am still a bit confused about what it means. All your outfits look very smart (my fave is 1) and work appropriate to me. Of course I notice that they are all pants outfits. Is that a personal preference or is that the business norm in the US? Here a lot of women wear skirts and dresses (not that pants aren't popular too). I am not sure whether that is climate related (warm here) or a cultural difference. I often wear pencil skirts to work, but I rarely see them on this forum. It is entirely unremarkable here. Anyway, it's great to get more ideas for work outfits. I'd rate this a 7 on the business to casual continuum &amp; and 9 on the happiness scale- love these ponte pants- and the booties and sweater are a matchy girls dream </p> <p>Tuesday I'd rate this a 6 on the business to casual continuum. This sweater looks so much better IRL, it has a shimmer that didn't photograph well. Also not sure this was the best footwear. </p> <p>Wednesday I'd put this a 7 on the business to casual continuum. I was going to wear a pair of Chelsea booties, but felt the heels took it from a 6 to a 7</p> <p>Thursday a 7. Yes yes it's the dreaded all black, but it was a rainy day and I had an early meeting so I needed a FFBO, that would look good with these shoes </p> <p>Friday. A 4. It's flannel friday, and I cheated with this silk shirt. </p> <p>Thanks for looking. All feedback and thought welcome. </p>
