You need a great flat sandal or pointy-toed flat--something more girly than the boat shoe. I had forgotten we moved and threw things out in quite a frenzy last we were here. So for now the choices were these vs v casual tan suede booties vs gold sneakers with velcro vs thong sandals (seasonal confusion ahoy)... or black zippered oxfords that I might yet try! I am very tempted by the thought of blue flats though!</p> <p>Claire, I ended up pulling them to just below the calf yesterday!
