Next time you wear skinnies with your Doc's could you take a sideways shot? If you remember? Whenever I try to wear that combo, all I can see is the grey wedge, so I end up changing footwear.  It's silly, because I don't feel that way wehn wearing htem with a dress/skirt.  I guess it's because much of the rest of the boot is covered.  Maybe if I see it on you, I'll get a better sense how the big pic looks.  You know how we never see the big picture when it's yourself...
