I wanted to do something lighter too, but this charcoal top was the only thing I had in this shape that worked with the skirt. The necklace was added for something a little dressier to balance out the sweatshirty look of the top.&nbsp;Not sure this outfit&nbsp;is 100% there, but I do like the proportions better.</p> <p>#2: Found this apple green top really cheap at Nordstrom Rack. I always think I look funny in acid or&nbsp;lime green, but this is just different enough that it seems better.</p> <p>#3: Very standard cardigan-and-knit-dress outfit with cute new dress.</p> <p>#4: I finally decided that my complete lack of any light colors in my wardrobe is getting kind of ridiculous. Found this cream shell with a pretty cowl neckline&nbsp;at H&amp;M a few weeks ago and was all proud of myself. Wore it, spent the morning tugging it up because the cowl part kept sliding down to really non-work-appropriate levels. Then got chocolate on it during lunch and spent the afternoon trying to arrange it so it looked decent <i>and</i>&nbsp;the stains were hidden in the folds.&nbsp;Stains sort of came out in the wash, but not really.&nbsp;So this may be the only time I wear this particular top.</p> <p>#5: Basic and neutral&nbsp;as an excuse to wear a big dramatic necklace.</p> <p>#6: What I wore today on a depressingly cool and rainy day. I love these booties, but not sure I can get behind still wearing them at the end of May. And it may be time to give up this sweater. I kind of randomly grabbed it today after not wearing it for maybe a year, and it looks way too short all of a sudden.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! Things I could find in Finds below.</p> <p> </p>
