And better someone in baggy casual pants, who appreciated and enjoyed their work, than someone in a ballgown who was bored. </p> <p>I tend to wear looser clothing (too many EF items together) when I'm chronically tired and in pain. So, no side-eye from me on that front!</p> <p>Good luck and lots of strength and patience on the white-bottoms hunt. There's a lot out there that's very discouraging. I do agree with Lisa and Angie that this outfit is maybe a bit too casual for the event. However, I think slimmer or more structured pants would automatically look dressier in the same outfit.</p> <p>ETA: my (dark blue, not white) kut Catherines, which I deliberately bought more fitted, are TWO sizes down from my normal denim size. (I'm always 1 size smaller in KUTs in general.). No specific suggestions for new ones for you, sorry. </p> <p>When shopping I'll throw anything white that looks like it will fit into the cart, and try it on without being invested in it looking good. If not, some experimenting with rolling and styling them as loose fit makes sense. They were incredible! However, I snapped this picture right before we left. I noticed my pants looked too big and baggy, but we had to go. Also, I thought maybe I should have tucked my shirt. Anyway, ignorance would have been bliss. Do you think the white stands out too much? I think I need new white pants. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. </p>
