When someone is sharing their style, simply being involved in the community - well, if you did this to me I would be very very hurt. Lots of fabbers comment on their husbands' liking their outfits. Obviously that is important to a lot of us. My footwear is usually some zip up boots with a slight heel or office appropriate irregular choice heels for work.</p> <p>The story of my fashion evolution is a long one:</p> <p>I guess my love of shirts and ties started when I was about 15, I had a school uniform which consisted of a white shirt/blue shirt (summer/winter) yellow and black striped tie and a black skirt. Now, up to my last year I always wore my uniform smart - shirt buttoned up, tie neat etc and one day I was in a rush so had my top button open, collar up and my tie loose all the way up to getting into my form room. I tied my tie and made motions to do up my top button and put my collar down but a friend said it looked good as it was so I left it for a period thinking a teacher would tell me to neaten up but they didn't and it felt a lot more comfortable than I thought it would, also a few other girls adopted the same look so the style stuck....for a bit. One day I got taken aside by the year head who told me I had to neaten my uniform up as a parent complained that they weren't enforcing dress policy. So that's how I got my first detention too lol. A note was sent home to all parents with new uniform guidelines, the trouble is they only stated that the shirt must be fully buttoned. So me and a couple of other girls adhered to it albeit with popped collars so I got to like that. Anyway there was only about 3 months of school left at this point so nothing more got said and they switched to clip on ties (ugh) the following year.</p> <p>So that's the start.</p> <p>I kept the uniform (still have it) but sank into typical teenage fashions while at 6th form, in fact I didn't wear a shirt for 2 years after that. Then at 18 I went to university where the first week had a school disco thing so out came the uniform, however, my love of shirts and ties was re-ignited when I got a job as a waitress at a very upmarket restaurant, the uniform: white dress shirt, black trousers, black tie.</p> <p>About 6 months later I met my now husband but he didn't mention he had the same fetish (on women not himself) for about 2 years. In this time I'd been wearing shirts as normal and got into wearing corsets too after seeing a burlesque show - that was me sold!!!! So I've been popping my collars and wearing ties ever since, I've also come to admire women who dress the same in a big way.</p> <p>So that's it really lol. </p> <p>I've got my DH to wear his shirt collars up a bit too (see pics).
