I think normally I would wear them to the ankle with these boots, leaving a sliver of skin at the bottom, but due to the warmth I decided to try them shorter. I don’t think it looks bad in terms of leg-shortening or something, but is definitely new to my eye, so I have to think on it. I like the idea of scarfs to add some pattern and color to maternity outfits. Buying maternity clothes can be tricky. I think this blouse is one of those things that is just going to look better in motion than in a photo. I know it looks kind of wide and shapeless here. The other problem is I don’t really have good shoes for an outfit like this. I tried on some heeled sandals, but then I just felt too 80’s fabulous and just missing the big hair.<br /> (2) The second outfit was an at home experiment, but I don’t think it looks quite right. Thoughts? The blazer is new as well, and the cuffs need to be shortened. They are folded up in the photo. This blazer made me feel so great! But it's not photographing that well :(<br /> (3) I also got this orange top with a built in necklace. Angie had a blog post about that last year or so. I realize it won’t last forever because of that, but it doesn’t have to! The first orange top shot is just to show the top.<br /> (4) This photo is how I actually wore the orange top (minus the jacket most of the time). I am still a little like a fish out of water dressing this new body, so I really appreciate your input. The gray jeans are new too. They still close first thing in the morning! By dinner time I tear them off.</p> <p>I have to say that it is really interesting how my shopping habits have had to change and how I have to think a lot harder about what I buy. I think at the end of this I will be a better fashionista. </p>
