A size up will likely not make a big difference in this kind of fabrication — this is how they’re intended to fit, I’m pretty sure. I get those horizontal lines in 90% of my fitted pants and jeans! </p> <p>I also love the length. I’m wearing a low-heeled boot here, which is probably what I’d wear with this kind of pant. The hem falls just shy of the floor in the back, which is what I prefer — I do not care for the feel of the shorter full-length style on me (too many traumatic flood pant comments as a young girl!). </p> <p>However, I’m reminding myself that one of my big new things is “ease.” Even paired with less fitted or even oversized tops, I think I’d prefer to add pants that fall into an easier vibe than these, at this point in my style evolution. I’m taking a cue from how much I’m enjoying those looser wide-leg jeans. Slightly oversized marbled jacket, Anthro silky tee, roomy jeans, and western boots. Added a scarf for warmth walking to and from the car. </p> <p>I had time to kill at a mall near my friends that has a Nordstrom so I cruised through. I tried on these brown Frame trousers which are on sale and fit well — I’m a sucker for a good slit-hem trouser. I like the color too. I brought them home for a trial styling session, but I wonder if they’re a little heavy (of course that would not be something apparent in a photo) and maybe a bit more fitted and not as relaxed as I’m preferring these days. If I lose a few pounds (carrying a few extra at the moment) they would fit easier. They are stretchy, but I don’t know if I want that fitted look so much. Any thoughts on the look of them? </p>
