I made campfire bars (the bday party is for 12 year olds) from the cookbook Butter by a local, Rosie Daykin. She has a local bakery here with fab home baking. She's famous for her homemade marshmallows. So these bars are like a s'more with a thick layer of homemade marshmallow on top. To.die.for (marshmallow is my crack). I can't recommend the book enough - it's in our local Costco. If you like simple home baking you'll love this book. Felt bloated and miserable, purged a good chunk of my closet, and threw on some pants I bought last year but rarely wear. Decided to head out to The Bay this afternoon in search of a longer VC tube skirt in black (I have a striped one but I'm curious to see if the black one is longer). So - first WIW is taupe pants, white Old Navy sleeveless top, DV booties. Changed to BC sandals and added a cardigan. Got to The Bay and the VC section was hopeless. Terrible. So bad. No tube skirts.&nbsp;Left in a huff. Passed The Gap on the way out and the blue camo shorts that Angie posted about in Janet's post on shorts were on sale for $19.99. I must have tried on the 4 and the 6 each 20 times before deciding to seriously size up with the 6. The 4's were slouchy but I find that my eye is tricking me and when I see photos of myself in what I think are slouchy bottoms, they aren't necessarily looking all that slouchy. So snapped up the 6. Took a photo at home and realize that not only do they not look slouchy in the photo, but I LOOK 2 sizes bigger than I am! Ugh it's one of those days. Funny b/c I could pull them right off without even undoing the button.&nbsp;Nonetheless, I wore the shorts to (oops) bake some more for a bbq tomorrow, and make dinner. Felt fabulously slouchy so don't really care What do you think? </p> <p></p> <p>ETA to add the "find" below.</p>
