Thanks Angie! I've hit the upswing part of the recovery so I'm feeling a little more confident.

Ceit and Windchime, I'm glad you think the jacket works. I've always been on Team Wear but I'm trying to be a bit more cautious before ripping the tags off. :)

Thanks Joy and Neel!

Shevia, me too! It's been years since I've owned one and I really didn't expect to wear it as much as I have been.

That blush jacket is lovely on you. Its a nice fit from what I can see. I am not able to see the track pants that well on my phone .. But I am sure its fun. Great set of outfits and glad you are recovering well.

Your blush Danier jacket is gorgeous with your complexion. I'm quite impressed by the stylish looks you've pulled together in spite of the brace and cane. I'd be tempted to spend the entire time in sweats!

You're doing really well with that leg brace and cane. Good for you.

The dress outfit is fabulous, and I like the track pants look too. And killer blush jacket. Nicely done, Dee. Hang in there. xo

This is my season of non-cardigan based toppers! I've never been a fan of the denim jacket, but I picked one up earlier this year at Old Navy and it's fast becoming a summer workhorse. I found that it's a lot more versatile now that I'm not wearing jeans all day, everyday. The Gap khakis in outfit 1 have a high enough stretch factor that they're comfortable even with my brace. And the dress in outfit 2 I've had for years. It's a little more feminine than I'd probably currently buy, but I still love the geometric pattern in the summer.

Next, Aida had suggested a dressy pair of sweat/track pants as a comfortable alternative to jeans for awhile. These are probably a little more casual than she meant. They are an olive pair of cotton cargo track/sweatpants, but they're super-soft, drape nicely, and I like the urban/sporty vibe. Outfit 3 was my attempt to dress them up a bit with a sparkly tee (which had a built-in bib necklace that I now realize that you can't see in the pic, sorry!) and moto jacket for dinner with friends.

And outfit 4 is the same pants with my blush Danier biker jacket that finally arrived! I ordered it during the sale a couple of weeks ago. It's a heaver leather than my white one so it see it being used as outwear more than the white one, which I've often been wearing as a topper. I'm happy with it but does anyone see any reasons not to keep?

Comments and suggestions welcome, and thanks for looking!

Outfit 1: Jacket - Old Navy, Tank - Gap, Khakis - Gap, Sandals - Birkenstocks
Outfit 2: Jacket - Old Navy, Dress - Loft, Sandals - Birkenstocks, Bag - Kate Spade
Outfit 3: Jacket - Danier, Tee - Loft, Pants - Aritzia, Shoes - Clarks
Outfit 4: Jacket - Danier, Tank - Gap, Pants - Aritzia
