The Elliot Lucca has a definite greenish cast which you may not like with your colour palette. I did chop my white denim jacket this summer and made it into a vest. I’ve worn it more “altered” than I ever did with the sleeves. I didn’t finish the edges though and it has a tiny bit of fraying where it was cut--kind of goes well with my casual style.<br /> @Suz: Thank you. Davey is very much like a bunny. Somedays he hops around like Peter Cottontail. I totally missed the grey tone bag--I think that might be the best solution for me. I also looked at another similar bag by Brahmin but haven't made the commitment yet. I usually get tired of a bag after about a year. Even if I pay a lot for it and it's high qualitiy. So I'm still looking and considering options. I've bought several used bags over the past year or so to test various styles and sizes and that has helped me determine what I like or don't like. It holds everything you need but with the two separate sections, plus the inside small pocket, you can still find everything. It has a long strap for shoulder or cross body wearing that you can take off to carry as a satchel so has versatility. </p> <p>I love the snakeskin in the green tone (the one I have) and am finding it goes with much more than I had anticipated.
