Haha! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-and-trip-report---mexico-city#post-1977788 Wed, 28 Nov 2018 20:29:54 +0000 Sara L. 1977788@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Rachylou - Even in Puerto Penasco, which is small beach town with lots of tourists, no one looks scruddy.&nbsp; People are dressed up to go the grocery store - always full make-up and hair done.&nbsp; So I wasn't really surprised by Mexico City.&nbsp; I was a little surprised by so many men in suits but we stayed in a nice neighborhood (my brother called it hipster Mexico City).</p> <p>Jules - The kids did great but we didn't plan super full days.&nbsp; We had big breakfasts and didn't worry about getting started early.&nbsp; We knew they couldn't go all day anyway so might as well relax while we could.&nbsp; We stopped for lunch at a sit-down restaurant every day just so everyone had a chance to rest.&nbsp; We also bribed them with gelato and pastries (bakeries were everywhere).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>abc - The breakfasts were awesome!&nbsp; I think they were the highlight of the trip.&nbsp; All the food was great, actually.&nbsp; I'm sure we'll be back.&nbsp; It was an easy trip from Albuquerque and there's so much we didn't have a chance to do.&nbsp; Plus, my husband enjoyed practicing his Spanish.&nbsp; He said he could tell he was getting better even after just 4 days. The airline lost my suitcase for half the trip. I wore my travel outfit until they found it - a wool turtleneck sweater and cords. We kept thinking, “they’ll bring it today.” I think that’s why I’m so paranoid about my travel clothes - you just never know.
