Maxi dresses look odd for work. I was just thinking of the hospital style I saw this past week. Women who were not in scrubs mostly wore thigh to knee length dresses and skirts or nice fitting slim trousers in a dark color ( no jeans, leggings or gear). One woman who just started a job at the surgery desk wore a maxi dress. She was tall and looked good but not professional and seemed to be rejected by the staff. She did not look like she fit in.
