I really like the sweater! I think it looks current, the color and neckline is very flattering on you (showing the collarbone looks elegant and feminine to my eye.)

I, too, am on the fence about the blouse. I think it may be the colors, though. I almost want to see you in warmer tones. It is pretty, though!

Thanks chewyspaghetti and Ledonna.

I'll have to look at my button downs and see if I have any options. I purged most of them earlier this year bc they weren't getting any wear. I don't like to take the time to iron and fit can be lackluster due to my bust.

It's funny you bring up the seasonal issue, chewyspaghetti. In the Spring/Summer I feel the blouse looks too visually heavy bc of the black background and the longer sleeves.

Hello Lady

I think both look current.

I would actually put a structured button down under both then but the shirt all the way up and add a chunky necklace.

To be honest I don't like when the blouse is hitting you. I feel as if you have a great shape but it is something that I can't quite put my finger on. I believe a bit of structure underneath will give an additional intrest.
I love the maximum with the blouse.

I like the sweater and would keep it. Have you tried layering a button down under it? You could also try it over a top with a ruffled or lace trim at the bottom.
The other top I am on the fence with, but it seems more spring/summer to me so I would probably hold onto it until then.

Hey guys,

It's Monday again and man does it feel like it. I've been under the weather but life has marched steadily on.

Below is a sweater that I can't decide if I should keep or not. For years upon years, I wanted a chunky knit sweater in this color. When I found this one a few years ago, I chose to order it a few sizes up for a slouchy fit. It never really looked slouchy though. Just boxy and shapeless. I'm not sure what to do with it. Is it current? Does it flatter? How should I style it?

Today, I chose an old blouse that I've passed over each time I've done a purge. I have a soft spot for smocked hems. I haven't worn it much lately but w maximalism trending it seems it could speak to that. What do you think? Does it look current? Is it time to let it go? How would you suggest I style it?

Thank you for any thoughts and suggestions!
