I have enjoyed reading it and have read it over and over.</p> <p>2012 was the year YLF gave me the confidence to wear skirts and dresses!! And I feel like I hit my style stride. Several factors infulenced this: learning how to flatter my figure in my eyes, taking care of my skin, face, brows and hair, experimenting, having fun with fashion and readjusting my wardrobe to account for my very hot core temprature.</p> <p> Summer was a challenge but for 2013 I plan to use nair on my legs more ( I get a much smoother wax and have finally found a formulation that does not make me pass out from the smell!) and wear more skirts and sleeveless tops in the summer time! I always wear shorts/spanx beneath my skirts but have invested in more nude/buff shorts so my black shorts don't peek from beneath my skirts! Summer pumps remain a challenge because my little toes always swell no matter how wide or big the shoe. This year I hope to find my comfort solution to this pesky problem!</p> <p>I also love my statement earrings and realize my style direction is not minimal- even while wearing a menswear inspired item: I like long locks and long earrings. I am quitensentially ' the long haired girl with the long gold hoops' as I was known in med school. Some things never change and should not. But never saying never is out the door! I am open to any fashion item: in my own way and my own style avatar I will either adapt or perhaps say nay to any interesting trend: all while having fun.</p> <p>pics 1-7: 2012<br /> pics 8 onwards: having fun in 2013!</p> <p>some pics are tiny and I apologize for that. and bebe was having way too much fun with the camera so the blurry shots from 10 onwards but hey she was having fun right alongside me!!</p> <p>A sante.
