You can also shorten the belt which costs a bit more than having holes added. I would do this if the "hole' has a grommet around it. Also keeps the belt looking balanced - I like an odd number of holes (most belts have 5 holes) Shoe repair guy at the mall does it. Yes, adding another hole to a belt is easy.  You can either take it to your local shoe cobbler, who will do it for a nominal fee.  Alternatively, you can buy a tool that will punch the hole in for you.  I got mine at a craft store (Michaels).  It has an adjustable wheel that you can dial to the correct size hole that will match the existing holes in your belt.  The tool is a little pricy, around $15, but cost per use goes down the more you use it.  As a pretty pear who always has to wear a belt, I have used mine plenty. She told me that when she got off the plane, she was amazed at all the colors everyone was wearing. She then told me that while I was not colorful by American standards, I would be very colorful by French. :) I'm finally experiencing the world of arctic air conditioning. Brrr. Top - Ann Taylor Loft Pants - Ann Taylor Loft Cardigan - Gap - You can't tell from the pic, but there are tiny bronze beads on the cardi. Shoes - Born Belt - Michael Kors It may or not be obvious in the pic, but my belt is just a little too big. Has anyone ever put another hole in a belt? Has it worked well?
