Welcome to the forum , it is always so nice to have one more person sharing their outfits.
I didn't see the comments above but my opinion on #1 is that it is too much volume on volume. The skirt and the shirt can work lovely with other items.

You look great in belted jeans and at a certain point in my life I also had several small flower print shirts so I probably am biased on that :)(still have one )

If anyone should wear skinnie jeans it is you because you look terrific on it, no toothpicks here.

Try the top in number1 with the jeans in 3 and see how you like it. I like both the jeans looks. I think youd look really fab in a pencil skirt.

Thank you so much everyone! Your comments are so encouraging first thing on a Monday morning. Especially the comments on #1. It definitely is just too much loose volume all over the place. I didn't see that on my own, just couldn't figure out what was wrong. And I think a pencil skirt is going on my 'to look for' list - I don't have one, and have plenty of tops to wear with them.

You all are terrific!

Thanks for the encouragement on the skinnies. I have another set of jeans to skinni-fy on my 'soon-projects' list

Welcome! I do think the top in #1 is a lovely color, but way too big on you. Like the skirt and boots, maybe with a more fitted top?
I'm a big fan of floral button downs and this is a good look although you might try a smaller roll on the jeans next time.
I really like you in #3. It all works.

Hi Amiable, welcome:)

Your jeans outfits look great and I do like the silhouette I the 3rd outfit. It's a really simple, clean look.

#1 as others have said a great pieces individually. I'm just not sure they at their best together. The skirt and boots look cool together and I feel a more fitted and or structured top would create a nice look. The blouse is really pretty and I see that working over your jeans.

My honest opinions_
1. Wear a fitted button down tucked inside the skirt. The skirts and boots look ok.
2 and 3. Do not change anything. You don't look like a tomato on a toothpick. You look fab in jeans.

Hi - I love the individual pieces in 1 but I think the volume on top & bottom are a bit over powering on you as you seem quite slight. I think the skirt & boots with a more form fitting top & the top with skinnies or a pencil skirt.

I think the jeans in 2 are great I like idea of the shirt but think maybe a bit more form fitting or a size smaller would work better.

I think 3 is perfect as is.

Welcome, I think you look great in both the jeans.
#1 - I think they could all work but I'm not sure about them together - the weight of the boots/skirt & top seem to be competing in some way imo. Love blue on you.
#2 Is a great round the house outfit - I love the waist definition, your body looks long & lean here.
#3 Imo the top isn't flattering your body in this pic (it's so hard to tell from one photo). Have you tried this top with the skirt & boots, tucked in maybe? Or the blue top with the jeans? Hope this helps - but remember it is just what I am seeing.

Welcome to the wonderful world of WIW at YLF!! It is SUCH a great learning opportunity, you are right. One that I, at any rate, am in desperate need of!

I love your belted Long and Leans with the scuffed up boots! They look a little loose, but in a good way.

You also look amazing in skinnies and can most certainly wear that silhouette! I see no tomato on toothpicks! (Laughing at the image, though!)

Your boots are so well fitted in the ankle area - not always easy to find that!!

I'm slowly sorting through my closet, trying to see what I look like in everything I own, so that I can decide what to keep and what to ditch. Very nearly everything was thrifted for super cheap, and I'm not emotionally tied to these - I just don't have my eye trained to know what flatters me.

#1: A church outfit. I got lots of "wow, sexy" comments (as compliments) from other women, but I don't understand why it was sexy at all - is it the tall boots? Also, my husband said it looked better in person than in the picture - but I think the shirt is too big (it's oversized and floaty, but also a size up from my normal). I'd like opinions on the shirt, skirt and boots, if you have them.

#2: An "at home" outfit - these are my "normal" jeans, (I think they're gap long n lean). They grow through the day, and I just discovered belting them - I like them better that way. I think I almost always wear them with short boots. I'm wearing them with a small floral print button down here - I have several small floral-print button downs, and when I get them all photo'd I'll probably put them together into one post for votes. But you can let me know what you think anyway, if you want to :)

#3: Another "at home" outfit - this one is trying a new silhouette for me. I kind of feel like a tomato walking on toothpicks when I wear skinnies (and these are my only pair - a pair of Levi Silver boot cuts that I skinni-fied). The shirt is batwing, and I didn't think I'd like it, but I do. Black isn't my best color, I know. But I think I like the shirt anyway. Do you? (Someday, I think I'll make a copy of it in a different color)

Which of these are worth keeping or needing ditched?

(I have lots more pictures if additional angles would be helpful).

And thanks for being such a terrific forum - it's so helpful to me to see what you all wear and read your suggestions to others. It makes me feel like this whole style thing is something that I might actually learn someday.
