Anything heavier than the Ella Moss, which is both shirt and jacket in my world, is outerwear for me. I run a little warm for most toppers and don't spend any time in AC. Vests are my solution to the third piece. I'll be holding on to these pants for a long time even if they don't get a ton of wear. That leaves 280 basic pieces. I could get down to 250, but for now I'm gonna hold where I am. I think I will revisit this in the spring. I don't have the too many clothes feeling and I don't want to have the too little clothes feeling. I really never thought I'd be bitten by the purge bug. I guess, never say never.<br />I have a few thoughts on the small wardrobe. I live in a 4 season climate so in addition to how many outfits an item fits into, I'd also have to consider how many seasons it fits. Really small wardrobes tend to mix and match better than mine. I'd lose my really statement pieces due to mixability. For example the tartan pants I'm wearing today are not the most versatile piece but my wardrobe is much less fun without them. So I wont join the tiny closet club, but I've made a lot of progress on my overstuffed closet.<br />On to what I wore<br />top- Old Navy<br />vest- Bisou Bisou<br />pants- Royal Bones<br />boots- Steve Madden </p>
