I usually have everything ironed and ready to go for the week, but when my planned outfit didn't coincide with the weather...</p> <p>These slacks are probably 4 - 5 years old and they have been wardrobe workhorses the entire time. I have them in black, blue, and brown, and when I found them the next year on the sale rack, I purchased duplicate pairs in each color. I am planning on taking one of the pairs apart and using it as a pattern to make more. I like the fit, they don't stretch out, and they have a side zip which hides belly bulges.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm so glad that you think this burgundy is a good color for me - I love the shade.&nbsp;&nbsp;And the scarf is my favorite, a real fall-back scarf for me. I put on what didn't need to be ironed and this is what I ended up with. Black cigarette pants, high-low tunic, favorite scarf, boots. I decided on gray boots instead of black "just because."</p> <p>In honor of the snow, I wore my snowman earrings, and right next to them are my black coral earrings from Grand Cayman. Juxtaposition! And I'd rather be in Grand Cayman than where it's snowing :)</p> <p>Bonus outtakes of those playful pups.
