They also both had the same flaw that resulted in the thin silk tearing at the seam along the seat. </p> <p>I love wearing the black one as a dress, so I had that one repaired and reinforced. I didn’t like the shape of this burgundy one as much, so I decided to have it shortened to just above where the damage started. The tailor did a great job, hemming it at an angle so it’s longer in back and shorter in front. I feel like I have a brand new blouse in my wardrobe! </p>
