This is the way I am dressing...not quite spring with a big snowstorm coming tonight and the next few days. Today I picked all the daffodils bulbs showing color for indoor bouquets. The snow and ice would probably freeze them. This will be the third year in a row when the first new tree buds will freeze and secondary buds will have to emerge. I read that this weakens the trees when it happens 2 years in a row. Three may be the end of many of the plantings. Tree buds of leaves and flowers will freeze, as will many many bushes, lilacs are starting to have buds. Much of the beauty of spring will disappear.
