I've always liked the maxi/mid-calf midi length for that swishy, feminine feeling. Yes, I'm the type who likes having to hold my skirt up to climb stairs - it feels deliciously retro.</p> <p>A longer jacket might be good, too, since I've generally liked that one's proportions with skirts. Don't have one, but something to think about. The trousers are a little higher than my trouser jeans, actually - the rise is 1 in. more, which always looks awkward to me when tucking.
