Featuring music from Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland and others, you can imagine there were some creative outfits, and black just seemed, well, de rigueur.  This IS Seattle though, and folks were in every manner of clothing, including at least one gentlemen in orange fleece vest and flannel!  I had acquired this long black Kenneth Cole moto vest early this Spring at one of our outlet malls, but had lacked an occasion until now.  It has a sheer chiffon panel inset at the back, and a detailed double placket with full-zip in front. It's tunic length on little old me, so I paired it with my <3 Eileen Fisher harems, a new cobalt clutch that Aida found during our meet up (she found several ;-)) and some 9 West peep-toe booties I had from the same outlet mall trip. Added a lethal spike bracelet al la Nordies 2013 and some chunky rings, et voila.  I decided that, as much as I love it, I wouldn't wear the citron MEOW bracelet Angie picked out for me at The Rack :-)  She knows with all the cat rescue activities I'm involved in that I'm a CCL, so it works, plus citron.  Minnie says thanks, Auntie Angie!   Alas, after all of that walking during the meet up, I decided to switch back to my silver sandals to appease the dogs.  Silver can be dressy, no?!
