Basically just a plain stockinette pullover knit in linen yarn at a loose-ish gauge, with random dropped stitches to create the ladders.</p> <p>Peri, I think you should definitely try the dots and stripes combo!</p> <p>JJ, the orange pants are from j crew. I bought them a couple of years ago in Seattle with Angie! I also own them in navy. I think they make them every year, although not always in orange... If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the last outfit. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-a-whole-weeks-worth#post-1678496 Mon, 13 Jun 2016 13:31:11 +0000 Diana 1678496@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I've been super busy in the last week or so both with work and social events - apparently I've managed to snap a WIW photo 7 out of 8 days but haven't had any time to upload or post any of them.&nbsp; So here they are all at once.&nbsp; Hope it's not too many photos! ;)&nbsp; </p> <p>1-2: worn to a banquet/awards ceremony for a local community organization.&nbsp; There was a wide range of dress at the event, from casual to evening gowns (!).&nbsp; I felt appropriately dressed in this shell/pleated skirt/blazer/patent sandal combo.&nbsp; </p> <p>3: a simple sack dress with chunky sandals for work on a hot day.</p> <p>4: silk blouse, tulip hem tube skirt, and gladiators worn to work and then out to dinner.&nbsp; </p> <p>5-6: a sporty skirt look for work with a miniskirt, handknit linen sweater,&nbsp; slip on sneakers, and nylon messenger.&nbsp; This outfit reminds me of Maneera's signature look!</p> <p>7-8: my take on Friday's <a href="http://youlookfab.com/2016/06/10/ensemble-light-blue-white-pearl-grey/" rel="nofollow">light blue, white, and grey ensemble</a>.&nbsp; It was actually quite cold on this day so I couldn't wear my first outfit idea for the ensemble (white skirt, grey tee, lightweight blue jacket).&nbsp; Instead I opted for my pale grey jeans, a floaty white blouse, a handknit blue mini-vest, and pewter/turquoise ankle strap low wedges.&nbsp; I topped everything off with my turquoise leather jacket.&nbsp; </p> <p>9: worn to a high school graduation party at a country club.&nbsp; I had originally planned to wear a dress but it was too cold (especially in the seaside town we were in).&nbsp; The last minute choice of the orange linen pants turned out to be a fun idea because the graduate is going to a college whose color is orange.&nbsp; I paired the orange pants with a navy/white blouse and white blazer, along with black platform sandals (required for the long length of the pants).</p> <p>10-12: a monochrome look worn for date night last night.&nbsp; Sheer black silk blouse over a polka dot tank and black/white striped VC tube skirt.&nbsp; There's actually triple pattern mixing going on here with the polka dots, stripes, and the snake print details on the purse.&nbsp; </p>
