A change of scenery is so refreshing. And we are indeed lucky to live less than two hours away from beautiful Atlantic beaches. </p> <p>Unfrumped, what a great idea to dye that jacket! It’s a good piece and I like that they’ve made it in several colors. I have the same jacket in a sagey-olive color that I’ve worn for a couple of years. That one is a M and fits me better. This one is a L and is a little big unless I layer underneath it, but ironically, this color is more springy/summery and less likely that I’d want to layer it. I think when I tried it on in the store, I was wearing a thicker top/sweater and the looseness wasn’t as evident. But it’s still workable. Just a different fit. You can tell the shoulders are a little big in the photos, and there is a lot of roomy through the middle. </p> <p>I’m so pleased about that scarf purchase. There is one on eBay but from a seller in the UK, and they don’t look to be flexible on price (although the price doesn’t seem unreasonable considering the original listing price, and the rarity of that design). There was a time a few years back when I wouldn’t have spent that amount on a scarf, but they have such longevity for me. The tide was going out, so I helped him back into the water. </p> <p>The seashells came home with me after I confirmed no critters were using them as homes.
