Plus, it gives me an excuse to get dolled up more people will actually see me other than my baby boy! Haha!</p> <p>I've mentioned before that no matter how much my style has evolved over the years, I will never let go of my love for skate shoes, especially DCs. My 'kicks', as I call them, have been a staple of my shoe wardrobe for a long time, and I've always had no shame in pairing them with outfits that usually wouldn't call for the most casual of footwear. They always feel unexpected and cool, and give me a far different edge than most every girl I come across around here. I just love the West Coast vibe they give off and let's face it, feel SO nice on my feet!</p> <p>These are my newest pair, my Christmas present to myself, a mix of hot coral, white and black high-tops. Paired with a cropped bomber jacket, sheer black blouse and distressed (a happy accident by my own hand, may I add!) skinny jeans, and my new Michael Kors Hamilton tote from my hubs (amazing!), they are a fresh take on an outfit that I would normally wear with my moto boots. </p> <p>Comments are welcome, as always!
