Thanks everyone.

Greyscale-I have really enjoyed getting healthier and getting better each week.

Rachylou-I love my mid-calf boots. I have another pair in black and wear them quite often.

amiable-The weight gain was quite a surprise, and I understand your frustration. I am in the process of learning how to dress my new shape and am hoping the large changes have settled down. Good luck in your healthy journey!

Angie-Thank you. I think the part I liked the best was the sweater. I dug it out the back of hubby's closet. 100% cashmere he got as a gift in high school and only wore once. I don't think he is going to get it back :)

Super 2014 look. Slouchy all over, with just the right amount of structure.

You and I are in the same boat. I've been working out for about 8 months and gained 12 pounds. It's mostly in my butt, I think, but my tummy has definitely NOT gotten smaller like I was hoping.

Still, the good health is worth it :)

You look really terrific!

Very hipster! I've decided, esp. after Angie's blog today, that mid-calf boots are *it*.

I think that works wonderfully. The slouchy sweater and loose jeans are very trendy.

And don't you love feeling like your body is changing through use? I'm always a tiny bit annoyed when rock climbing makes my jackets tight, but at the same time, it's such a clear sign of getting better at something.

I started exercising this past fall to increase my energy levels and keep up with my boys a bit better. As a result my shape has changed a bit and I've gained a bit of weight (sounds weird, but 15lbs true!) My clothes no longer fit very well, or at all. Pants are tight, shirts are straining (hello, never before had cleavage), and my waist is more defined. I am not complaining at all about the changes and will be shopping over winter break for some clothes that actually fit. The point with all this rambling is that I have had to get very creative with my outfits lately and as some of you may remember I had a small, but great wardrobe beforehand. This is something that I would have never thought to wear before, but stumbled on because of my limited options. I'm not too sure about it, but it was fun to try something new.
