Please educate yourself on strokes and be checked yourself. DH had one at age 47 and worked so hard to come back from it. He had to learn to walk and even swallow again. Now, many years later, he still cannot sweat ot feel hot or cold on one side of his body. He has had bad tintinitus ( ringing in the ears) . If jyou dad has frequent falls, he may be having mini strokes. Get him in a nursing home. They will be there to help if he falls. Men are in great demand in these homes because they are greatly outnumbered by women who love to lavish them with attention.<br /> This is hard and is happening in younger and younger ages for those where it runs in families.
