I think there's definitely a learning curve to taking care of curly hair, and I guess that's what has stopped me. When you list all they steps you take it sounds like so much trouble, but if it's only 10 minutes max that's really not bad at all. In fact it's a lot more time-consuming blow-drying and flat ironing my hair to make it straight.</p> <p>I have fine hair, too, so hopefully if this works for you it will for me. I quite like the way your curls add a little boho relaxation to your summery looks. #3 is my favorite!</p> <p>As Abie said, curls just lend themselves to frizz, and my hair routine is similar to hers. In my case, since my hair is very thin and fine, I can't brush or comb the curls out and I have to do some extra work to keep things fluffy. So when the hair is wet, I use a curl creme (Bumble and Bumble's curl creme for fine hair) and work it through all of my hair, then scrunch scrunch scrunch. After that, I twist small sections of hair all the way around the crown with some extra curl creme. Let that all air dry (or diffuse roots if you use a blow dryer), then once dry, fluff it all up with my fingers and use some mouse at the roots (and especially in the back underneath) to add some extra volume. Lastly, along my part I lightly tease the roots with my fingers for one last bit of lift, and lightly hairspray everything in place. As you can see most of the work is to add volume If the hair is already dry, I take some curl creme and mix with a little water and lightly scrunch in; followed by the mouse/tease, and light spray. I spray my hair with water in the morning, run a wide tooth comb through it, scrunch it a bit and let it dry. </p> <p>Once it's dry there will be some frizz.
