You do have to get used to hail and thunderstorms in the afternoons in the summers and springs here though. I keep some winter jackets in the car year round for that reason. I'm honestly thankful for any and all precipitation we get though because of the terrifying fire season we had in 2013. It was so awful. I think the dark lighting makes this appear slightly earthier than it really is, there are some pastel and also even neon tones in the scarf, but still I see why it reads as earthy and I don't mind that. I did have to laugh when we got to D.C. for our museum day, because it seemed like everybody was wearing black and grey. I just didn't see anybody else light pink or blue and very little navy. I saw lots of black or grey cardigans, black cropped trousers and ballet flats on the ladies. That was interesting. I just usually do have dark navy in there as well with the pale blue and pink. This is what I wore for a snowy flight out of Denver recently. I hope to switch it up and wear Rose gold sandals soon but it's snowing right now, do I can't retire the boots yet! </p>
