About the neckline of the tee. It doesn't look too low in the photo. My problem in similar tops is that a petite would fit best for the neckline and higher under arm seam, but then the top is too short. It takes experimenting with different brands. Try to find necklines that touch the sides of your neck. If the neckline is a slit, it doesn't show an expanse of neck and is more flattering. Other good necklines for small busts I've found are crew necks, halter, boat neck, and turtlenecks. Strangely a gathered scoop neckline on a peasant style blouse can be bust flattening. I blame that expanse of throat showing with no sign of cleavage

Thanks Ginger.

Brooklyn - I've never consiously gone for the BF look - but yes that could work. I still want to get something new next summer though. Do you know how many hot weather casual bottoms (that, crucially, currently fit comfortably) I have? Just this one. Thanks goodness I have some dresses!

Very nice way to negotiate both requirements! The shoe change and headwear/hair redo is all it takes.

Cute outfit. Love the hat! You could consider hacking the pants to make them into boyfriend shorts. I think that could work for that style.

I hasten to assure you that it wasn't 38 degrees during the hike!! That's why we went early in the day. It was around 29-32 - and that was hot enough. In this weather, I find you exercise in the morning or not at all (unless you can exercise in aircon).

And I thought I had a challenge yesterday, first going to church and then a birthday party afterwards! Good thing for casual church dressing, right? You met your challenge well - I love the polka dot top.

The dots and the hat are a happy combination --- well chosen! Maybe you'll start a trend, you know, "hike and pray?" I'd need a donut though, or at least a good muesli!

Today my daughters and I went on a little hike on the way to church (in a City park with a steep cliff path). That was hard to dress for, though helped by the informality of my church. So this is what I wore. I swapped the shoes out later for the ones in finds and removed the hat, and re did my hair.

I like the drape of this tee, but wish the neckline was a bit higher.

The clams get a lot of YLF love but I'm really over them. I bought them maybe 6 years ago as skinny jeans which I cut off and they have bagged out considerably. Next summer replacing them in some way (maybe not a direct equivalent) is a top summer priority.

It is hot today - due to have a 38 C max, and as soon as I got home I changed into a short linen shift. Those clams are too hot past the early 30's
