It's too bulky or something, or not a flattering shape. And I didn't see it in person, had to take a pic to see it. </p> <p>Jaileen right on all counts, the Shetland jacket is less defined at the waist. It's a Talbots that I bought last fall and fit really well right off the rack (so I thought) and is lovely quality. Good idea to try it when&nbsp;it's&nbsp;a bit colder, maybe over a heavier sweater. </p> <p>Thanks Sally! I'm letting my bangs grow out but otherwise haven't changed my hairstyle. I'm hoping to go a bit shorter overall once the bangs get there. I'm at that "driving me nuts need bobby pins to keep them out of my eyes" stage but my hair grows fast so I'll be there soon. </p> <p>Style fan, exactly! It might just be the photos, but cut seems to give you more of a defined waist whereas the other one looks more blocky. The Shetland looks like nice quality, though. Maybe it will be more useful when it's colder. It felt SO good to get rid of 48&nbsp;items&nbsp;that I no longer wanted in my wardrobe. (3 dresses, 4 jeans, 6&nbsp;pants, 5 shirts, 10 sweaters, 7 tops, 6 toppers, 2 skirts, 2 shoes, 1&nbsp;outerwear, 2 workout).</p> <p>I feel I have made a significant change in my wardrobe and approach to dressing in the past few months, and I'm pretty psyched about it. Thanks to Angie and all the members of YLF!!! </p> <p>I started out wearing the outfit in&nbsp;#1, but did NOT like the proportions of the&nbsp;Talbots Shetland Herringbone Blazer, so I replaced it with&nbsp;the N&amp;Z tweed jacket&nbsp;in #2. Also swapped the sneakers for monk strap loafers. The herringbone blazer is lovely and hardly worn but it's going in the back of my closet for now.</p> <ul> <li>Nic &amp; Zoe Blazer: my first top pic purchase from last April inspired by Angie's spring tweed jacket blog posting&nbsp;, also has a tiny bit of sparkle giving a sneak preview of Angie's more recent&nbsp;promise to share some of her copious supply of “glitz gene” with me, also thanks to “wear your wonderful wardrobe items” from July. In the past I would have considered this too “nice” for everyday wear.</li> <li><i></i>First wear for these&nbsp;jeans, thanks to many, many different conversations about fit,&nbsp;wash, modern looks, and leaving no retail stone unturned.</li> <li>First wear for this blush sweater thanks to a number of blog postings in recent months about this color.</li> <li>Going with a low contrast look, a concept I never heard of until YLF. </li> <li>Shoes and Bag a few years old. &nbsp;</li> </ul>
